A vent proves to be a lovely point
of entrance for the honey bees in this golf course home.
Inside the vent there are
two different openings.
A temperature gun is used to measure heat.
A stud finder always helps!
deWayne uses a "hand tool" known as
his palm to also locate bees.
Doing it the old fashion way!

A clean cut...
You can see the two peep holes, deWayne drilled in wall
and ceiling to confirm honey bees location.
A cut into the ceiling confirms the larger portion of the colony.

Yuk! Honey bees stuck inside of insulation.
deWayne begins to use the bee vac to suck out
a small amount of honey bees from cavity in wall.

Without hesitation, deWayne reaches into the womb of the colony
and begins to remove the honey comb and bees.
Beautiful virgin honeycomb, means the queen
has not layed any eggs inside the cells.
However, notice the capped honey at the very top of the comb, so pretty!!
Tiny spaces are always a challenge to work in,
but deWayne does an excellent job at removing the honey bees and their comb.
