A Generation Away...

I adore this picture of Laura Grace, my grandchild.  My son, C.J. pointed out to me how much Laura Grace looks like a scarecrow!  Something I had never noticed before, but certainly see it now.

Although my family hasn't been in beekeeping very long, we certainly have seen the importance of mentorship and passing our knowledge down to the grandchildren.  Unfortunately, many of the older generational beekeepers have "died off" with the honeybees and left us to pioneer for ourselves.

I share the same conviction regarding my faith, and the importance to pass it on ...

These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, 2 so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life
(Deuteronomy 6:1,2)
